How’s it going to work?

These are just ideas. Anyone can suggest as they see fit.

My guess is that you title your post with either the name of the theater or the name of the city.  The category tags become essential and will only consist of Country, State and/or City.

The review should obviously be dated and timed as to when your experience happened. Should we have a review policy? No personal vendettas?

  1. I’m so used to our other layout that this one seems COMPLETELY foreign

  2. For one thing, this looks like the large-print edition!

We could have a “no vendetta” policy, but it’s going to be difficult to enforce, since there’s no real way to know whether anyone has an agenda. If it’s as obvious as a spambot (multiple comments, all negative, etc.) we might want to have some sort of way to note that.

    Thanks for setting this up!

Let’s see how it goes. I’m hoping we get equal parts rave and slam.

  3. Yeah, I’m a little freaked out. Maybe we can add a little more color at some point. I kind of like the font size, though.

So what is everyone thinking for categories? This is what I came up with off the top of my head:

For organizational and future search purposes, I was thinking every new post should have these tags: State, City (if major metro area), Theater Name, Theater Chain (maybe), Issue Classification.

For issues, this is what I have so far. I’m sure I’m forgetting some, though:

    Projection
    Sound
    Seating
    Lighting
    Cleanliness
    Crowd
    Safety
    Parking
    Concessions
    Pricing
    Screen Size
    Screen Physical Damage
    Odors
    Staff
    Management

  4. We’re slightly limited on designs we can choose for free. I just want one with a customizable header so I can throw in “no concessions” pictures…like the vegas one I had yesterday…disappeared….I’ll go looking.
